When Will I Receive the Door Code?You will receive the electronic door code via email one day before your check-in. Our Lodges are equipped with a smart lock system, so no key is required to enter. Please note that there is no staff on-site.

Do the Windows Have Curtains?We provide pull-up roller blinds on the side windows near the bed to offer extra privacy for guests who may prefer it. However, the rooftop windows are uncovered, allowing natural light from the sun or a full moon to filter in. To ensure your comfort, we offer sleeping masks for a peaceful night’s rest.

About the Location ?Tiny Class Lodge is situated on a sprawling 20,000 m² property, featuring four distinct lodges, each offering access to a sauna and private hot tubs. The lodges face north, providing breathtaking views of the mountains. During the summer months, guests can enjoy the sight of horses and sheep grazing, visible through the expansive panorama windows. The lodges are located in a tranquil summer house area, with a small lake meandering through the property just a few hundred meters away. Conveniently situated in the heart of the Golden Circle, the lodge offers easy access to numerous activities and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is just a 12-minute drive, while the town of Selfoss is only 22 minutes away.

Is There a Reception or Staff On-Site?No, we do not have a reception or staff on-site. The check-in and check-out process is fully self-service. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, we are available via email from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and by phone 24/7 at +354 8614700. We can assist you remotely with access to the Lodge, the heating system, and the sauna.

What Can I Expect From the Bathroom?Our bathrooms feature a beautiful design, as showcased in our gallery or booking site. We provide organic cosmetics from the local brand Spa of Iceland, made with 100% Icelandic ingredients. All bathroom products, including shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap, are refillable to minimize waste. Each bathroom is equipped with floor heating, a towel heater, and a window for ventilation after showering. For guests staying in the Tiny Lodge, please note that hot water is heated electronically as there is no direct access to hot water. We kindly ask guests to use water sparingly, as the boiler provides hot water for approximately 10 minutes. Due to the compact size of the house, a larger boiler is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Is It Allowed to Fly a Drone While Staying at the Lodges?Yes, drone flying is allowed, but we have strict guidelines to ensure everyone’s comfort and privacy. You may operate your drone only within a 10-meter radius of your own Lodge, avoiding other Lodges and keeping the drone at a reasonable height. Drone usage is restricted to the hours of 10 AM to 8 PM. Maintaining the privacy and peace of other guests is extremely important. Please make sure your drone does not disturb anyone or create the impression that others are being recorded. Nobody wants to be woken up by a drone or feel uncomfortable. We kindly ask all guests to respect these rules to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

When Is the Sauna Available?The sauna is shared between two lodges, and a schedule is in place to ensure privacy and convenience for all guests. Each lodge is assigned specific 1-hour time slots for sauna use, allowing everyone to enjoy a private and relaxing experience. Please check the provided timetable to see your lodge’s designated sauna times. The sauna is open from 4 PM to 10 PM

Is There Enough Space for Our Luggage?As the Lodges are tiny houses, approximately 18 square meters, space is limited. We recommend bringing only a backpack or a small bag with the essentials you need inside. There is a cupboard available for storing items, but floor space is minimal, making it difficult to accommodate larger luggage.

Are the Lodges Heated?Yes, all Lodges are equipped with floor heating for consistent warmth, as well as an additional wall heater for extra comfort.

How is the roads during the winter?You should have no trouble reaching the location in a regular car during winter, provided there isn’t a storm. The entire route from Keflavik Airport consists of well-maintained roads, as they are serviced by the government throughout the winter months ensuring reliable access.

What Are the Kitchens Equipped With?Our kitchens are fully equipped with: • Two stovetops • A fridge with a small freezer • A toaster • A Nespresso coffee machine • A kettle • An air fryer We also provide basic essentials such as salt, pepper, sugar, a tea assortment, and coffee. Additionally, the kitchen is stocked with pans, pots, dishes, cutlery, and glasses for champagne and wine, ensuring you have everything you need for your stay.
